One of the most important disciplines we can develop as followers of Christ is to have a consistent quiet time.  “Quiet Time” is a term that describes a set apart time to read the bible, meditate on God’s word, and talk to God in prayer.

Discipline has two distinct purposes but a singular focus. The singular focus of discipline is to teach our children how to respond to God by the way we allow them to respond to us.

As parents our role is to model God to our children. Our own concept of God and His nature has been fashioned by our parents this is indisputable.

One of the hardest things to do as a parent is to empower our children. The process of empowerment begins when they are in their teens.

An attitude of gratitude is one of the greatest things we can impart to our children.
